Margi Carter
Executive Director Margi has worked in the field of early child development for 30 years. She has a passion for children and families that is evident in her "go above and beyond" attitude. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist and School District Administrator. Although a self-proclaimed work-a-holic, Margi also enjoys hiking and snowshoeing in the beautiful Adirondacks.
Karen Hachigian
Executive Assistant Karen has worked in the childcare field for 25 years. She started as a Family Worker for Head Start; then as a Community Teacher in a special needs preschool classroom. She holds the position of Executive Assistant at Children's Development Group. She has been a lifetime resident of the Adirondacks where she has raised her 3 children, and recently is now a grandmother to a precious little granddaughter.
Tiffany Beane
Director of Special Services Tiffany is a mom of 4. She has worked for CDG for 7 years, she is a Registered Behavioral Technician and is currently furthering her education in applied Behavioral Analysis at Grand Canyon University.
Rachael Christiana
SLP Rachael is a Speech-Language Pathologist, a graduate of Plattsburgh State University and a mom of 1. She has been with CDG since 2015 and is the lead teacher in our Lewis classroom since 2017.
Kevin Cooper
OT Kevin has been an Occupational Therapist since 1986. He started working with children in college when he was an instructor for the Western New York Association for Learning Disabilities. Since then he has worked in a variety of settings but has always kept his enthusiasm for pediatrics.
Lauren Jaquish
My Position Title Lauren lives in Lewis with her fiance and 3 boys. She is new to the Lewis classroom and I is very excited to begin this new journey with CDG. She has a passion caring for children and animals. Lauren's favorite past time is reading and she strives to make it a favorite for all kids.
Linda Jacques
My Position Title Linda retired after 26 years of teaching early childhood in a public school. She is still very passionate about teaching young children. Linda loves being creative and productive. Familiy is very important to her. She is married and has 3 grown sons, 3 granddaughters and 2 dogs that keep her grounded.
Briana McLaughlin
TA Briana is a Teaching Assistant in the Ticonderoga classroom. She is a mother of 3. Briana and her children enjoy lots of outdoor activities, reading and crafting. She loves to create and sell art and jewlery as a hobby.
Regina Charron
SLP Regina is a Speech-Language Pathologist with CDG. She has a BS from Bryant University and a MS of Communication from the University of Vermont. Regina came to education through her son, who was diagnosed with autism at age 3. She has worked with CDG since she was a grad student. At that time she fell in love with CDG's philosophy on teaching and it has been her passion ever since. Regina's personal mission is to help children and families navigate their personal education journey as she was helped.
Alina Feller
OT/L Alina has been an Occupational Therapist Practioner for the last 20 years. She started her career as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant and returned to school to get a Master of Science in OT. Alina has primarily worked with children and their families in out patient clinics, classrooms and homes. She has lived in the North Country for the past 7 years and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, the outdoors and gardening.
Krystal Jaquish
SLP Krystal is a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist providing services primarily to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers since 2015. She has been working with CDG for more than 12 years. Krystal is a mom of 1 with 2 energetic dogs. Krystal enjoys gardening, hiking, swimming and camping. Her passion is to use play-based learing and parent training to help children and their families succeed.
Linda Brown
My Position Title Linda is a mom of 4, a grandmother of 5 and a great-grandmother of 5. She is a retired cosmetologist. Linda was born and raised in Reber, NY. She enjoys her family, raising chickens, gardening, dancing and canning.
Thomessina Clarke
Speech Therapist Thomessina is a speech therapist at Moriah Central School. Her love for working with children has lead her to providing speech and special education services to young children with CDG. She loves living in the Adirondacks and spending time with her family & dog Charlie.
Amy Smith
Lead Teacher - Ticonderoga Amy is a proud mom of 4. She resides in Ticonderoga with her husband and children. Amy is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam and Grand Canyon University with a BA in Childhood Education, and a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction. She has been working in education for over 10 year and looks forward to working for CDG.
Alexis Beyer
TA Alexis is a Teacher's Assistant in the Lewis classroom. She is currently enrolled at SUNY Plattsburgh to earn a degree in special education. She loves being outdoors (hiking, swimming and traveling).
Alison Whitney
1:1 Aide Alison is a mom of 5 (2 sets of twins). She has worked with CDG as a 1:1 Aide for a year and intends to stay for as long as possible. She loves music, being outside. Her family and friends are very important to her, as is her work family.
Sharon Dorsett
TA Sharon is a proud mom of 3 girls. She has been a hairstylist for 28 years, a waitress for 2 and recently became a Teacher's Assistant for CDG within the last year. She looks forward to working with the children.
AnnMarie Munn
Special Education AnnMarie is a Special Education teacher (ages 0-7). She has been doing special education for 4 years and has been in education for 15 years. She is the mom of a teenage son, dog and cat. AnnMarie loves being active outdoors, traveling and being with friends and family.
Yvonne Bruno
My Position Title Yvonne is a mom of 2 and a grandmother of 2. She has worked with CDG since 2017. She enjoys hiking, gardening and puzzles. Being with CDG has been such an awarding experience for Yvonne, she enjoys working with the children and the staff.
Amy VanGorp
SLP Amy grew up loving to care for and teach children. She graduated from the College of Saint Rose with a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders. Amy began her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in 1999 and continues to provide therapy to children of various ages and grade levels. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, hiking, camping, gardening, painting, cooking and baking.
